A Retail Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of a retail branch or store location. They manage staff, customer service, sales, and operational efficiency to ensure the branch meets its goals and provides a positive experience for customers.

Responsibilities

  1. Team Management:
    Recruit, train, and supervise branch staff.
    Set performance expectations and provide coaching and feedback.
    Create a motivated and productive team environment.
  2. Customer Service:
    Ensure excellent customer service by maintaining a welcoming and responsive environment.
    Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and effectively.
    Maintain a customer-focused approach to drive satisfaction and retention.
  3. Sales and Revenue:
    Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
    Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and make adjustments to enhance results.
    Introduce and promote new products or services to increase revenue streams.
  4. Operations:
    Manage daily branch operations, including opening and closing procedures.
    Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
    Handle inventory management, stock replenishment, and merchandising.
    Monitor and manage branch expenses, budgets, and financial performance.
    Analyze financial reports and make informed decisions to optimize profitability.
  5. Relationship Building:
    Build and maintain relationships with customers, local businesses, and community members.
    Identify opportunities for partnerships or collaborations to enhance branch visibility.
  6. Training and Development:
    Provide ongoing training to staff to improve their product knowledge and customer service skills.
    Foster professional growth and career development among team members.
  7. Reporting:
    Prepare regular reports on sales, customer feedback, and operational metrics.
    Present findings and recommendations to higher management.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business
2+ years' of management or supervisory experience
Experience hiring and training individuals
