Job Title: Perfume Lab Assistant

Job Type: Part-Time

Experience Required: Minimum 2 Years in a Chemistry Lab or Similar Environment

Education Required: Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or Related Field

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Perfume Lab Assistant to join our professional perfumery laboratory. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in chemistry who is passionate about fragrance formulation and laboratory excellence. You will play a key role in supporting our perfumers and ensuring smooth daily operations within the lab.

Key Responsibilities


• Assist in the formulation and blending of perfumes according to precise specifications


• Accurately weigh, measure, and mix raw materials


• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lab environment


• Label, record, and document all formulations and samples properly


• Manage inventory of raw materials and supplies


• Assist in quality control and stability testing


• Ensure all lab equipment is maintained and calibrated regularly

Requirements


• Minimum 2 years of experience in a chemistry lab or similar scientific environment


• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field


• Strong knowledge of blending techniques and familiarity with aromatic raw materials


• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail


• Ability to follow detailed formulations and standard operating procedures


• Capable of working independently and in a team environment

Preferred Skills


• Prior experience in the fragrance or cosmetic industry


• Familiarity with safety and compliance standards in lab settings


• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and inventory management
