Manager Learning and OD

Job Brief

The Learning and Organizational Development (L&OD) Manager will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing learning and development programs and organizational development initiatives that support VentureDive's strategic goals and foster a high-performance culture. This role reports directly to the Head of HR and involves collaborating with various stakeholders to identify needs, develop solutions, and drive organizational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and deliver learning and development programs, workshops, and training sessions to enhance employee skills and knowledge across various levels
2. Develop and implement organizational development strategies and initiatives related to talent management, performance management, change management, employee engagement, and DEIB
3. Conduct needs assessments to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement in individual, team, and organizational performance
4. Evaluate the effectiveness of L&OD programs and initiatives using appropriate metrics and feedback mechanisms, and make recommendations for continuous improvement
5. Manage the L&OD budget, including cost optimization
6. Develop and maintain learning resources, materials, and knowledge management systems
7. Support the continuous improvement of performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and performance reviews
8. Facilitate organizational change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to business operations
9. Promote a culture of continuous learning and development throughout the organization
10. Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on L&OD related matters
11. Stay up-to-date on the latest L&OD trends, best practices, and technologies
12. Supervise end-to-end management of LMS

Required Qualifications & Experience:
Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field
• Professional certification in L&D or OD (e.g., CPTD, SHRM-CP/SCP, ODCP) is a plus

Experience:

• 8+ Years of HR experience with 5+ years in a dedicated Learning and Development or Organizational Development role
• Proven track record of designing and delivering successful L&OD programs and initiatives such as TNA, Engagement Surveys, Competency Mapping, Talent Mapping, etc.
• Experience working with a diverse workforce in a fast-paced environment, preferably in the technology industry.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in MS Office & G-Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Sheets, Google Docs, etc.)
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other HR technology solutions
• Knowledge of instructional design principles and management learning theories
• Train the trainer & coaching principles
• Psychometric assessment and development tools

• Strong interpersonal, coaching, and relationship-building skills
• Strong customer focus
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
• Project management skills, including planning, execution, and evaluation
