Position Overview

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented MIS Officer to manage and support the organization's software systems and databases. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in data integrity, system performance, and providing user support to ensure business continuity and informed decision-making across the company.

Key Responsibilities

Software Support & Deployment

  • Install, configure, and maintain organizational software systems
  • Deploy updates and monitor software performance
  • Coordinate feature enhancements and upgrades with relevant departments

Technical Troubleshooting

  • Provide timely technical support to users both on-site and remotely
  • Identify and resolve system and application-related issues

Database Management

  • Setup and maintain databases, including performing regular backups and restorations
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and reliability

User Training & Documentation

  • Conduct training sessions for end-users on system use
  • Develop user guides, SOPs, and support documentation

Data Quality & Analysis

  • Collect, clean, and normalize data to support reporting and analytics
  • Resolve discrepancies in data and ensure compliance with data standards

System Administration

  • Manage system users, roles, and permissions according to job roles
  • Ensure software compliance with internal policies and procedures

Process Mapping & Requirement Gathering

  • Collaborate with departments to gather system requirements
  • Document operational needs and suggest system improvements

Communication & Coordination

  • Coordinate between field teams and the head office for system-related needs
  • Ensure smooth flow and availability of system-generated data across teams

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Monitor system KPIs and suggest improvements
  • Contribute to daily, weekly, and monthly performance and operational reports

Branding, Security & Compliance

  • Ensure all systems and documentation comply with company branding and standards
  • Monitor software security and prevent unauthorized access

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in MIS, IT support, or database management
  • Proficient in databases (SQL/MySQL), Excel, and general system administration
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills
  • Knowledge of ERP or retail management systems is a strong advantage
