What your typical day will look like

  • Monitor internal operations and documents to ensure compliance with company policies and external regulations
  • Develop, implement, and maintain up-to-date documentation, certifications and SOP's
  • Conduct internal audits related to Inditex, HIGG, Egyptian cotton, GOTS, OCS, RCS, GRS
  • Address non-compliance issues and develop corrective action plans
  • Conduct regular internal audits and risk assessments to proactively identify risks or gaps
  • Provide training and awareness programs for staff and workers on compliance, ethical sourcing, and sustainability practices
  • Liaise with third-party auditors, certification bodies, and government authorities as needed
  • Keep checks on changes in laws and industry standards relevant to the textile and spinning sector

What you need to succeed at this role

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Environmental Science
  • 3–4 years' experience in compliance, preferably in Spinning
  • Familiarity with key industry certifications
  • Strong understanding of local labor laws, EHS regulations, and compliance standards
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
