About the Role:

Our Bunnings Commercial Organisation team is seeking a Business Development Manager specializing in Assisted Living / Health Care. This role involves forging strong business relationships with key stakeholders and driving success across Western Australia. As we grow our Commercial offerings, now is a great time to advance your career within Bunnings.

This unique BDM role focuses on developing and identifying new clients within the Assisted Living environment to expand our existing Commercial portfolios. You will develop strategies and plans to target growth opportunities, establish product initiatives, and build or repair relationships. A strong knowledge of the Building, Age Care, or Assisted Living sectors is essential, along with confidence in engaging with Senior Procurement and Finance teams.

You will report directly to the National Segment Specialist and receive support from Business Development Coordinators who provide current information and resources to help you build strong relationships across the state. You will execute strategic sales plans using your expertise in our wide range of products and services, collaborating with other Bunnings team members to ensure our customers receive the Best Price, Widest Range, and excellent Customer Experience.

  • Leverage our existing client database and drive new opportunities
  • Identify and collaborate with preferred suppliers and internal product teams
  • Engage with organizations across Victoria and nationally
  • Build strategic insights and plans for new business opportunities
  • Develop and execute strategies to address national and state opportunities, and counteract competitor activities

  • Manage and grow existing relationships within the Commercial client base
  • Engage with all levels of businesses to strengthen relationships and create new opportunities
  • Collaborate with various teams within Bunnings
  • Experience with CCRM software and advanced MS Office skills
  • Personal commitment to safety
