Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development Manager located in Gujranwala. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and developing strategic partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and bid on suitable projects on Upwork, LinkedIn, and other freelancing platforms.
- Draft compelling and customized proposals that align with client requirements and demonstrate clear value.
- Maintain a strong pipeline of leads and follow up regularly to convert prospects into long-term clients.
- Collaborate with the technical team to understand service offerings and shape solutions accordingly.
- Build and maintain client relationships through regular communication, meetings, and performance reviews.
- Analyze bidding performance, win/loss ratios, and continuously improve proposal strategies.
- Assist in developing business development strategies, pricing models, and target-setting.
- Negotiate terms and close deals independently with small to mid-sized clients.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 4–5 years of proven experience in bidding and client handling on platforms like Upwork.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Experience in business development and client relationship management
- Knowledge of software development and IT industry trends
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Strong understanding of IT services, such as web development, mobile apps, SaaS, DevOps, or digital marketing.
- Familiarity with project estimation, client communication, and contract negotiation.
- Proficient in using CRM tools, project management software, and lead generation tools.
- Ability to understand technical concepts and translate them into customer-friendly language.
