The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at The Aga Khan University is a dynamic academic centre providing diagnostic services across Pakistan. AKUH's Clinical Laboratory is CAP accredited, supporting the country through its main campus lab, 300+ specimen collection units, and 13 stat labs nationwide. The department includes sections such as Chemical Pathology, Hematology & Transfusion Medicine, Histopathology, Microbiology, and Molecular Pathology, all engaged in research and teaching.

Responsibilities- Manage the director's calendar, schedule meetings, and coordinate events efficiently.
- Provide administrative support to ensure smooth lab operations.
- Handle material and requisition requests based on departmental needs.
- Coordinate with HR for interviews and other administrative tasks.
- Manage business communications, including emails, memos, and presentations.
- Maintain confidential personnel records.
- Organize meetings, workshops, and conferences, including logistical arrangements and minute-taking.
- Coordinate travel, purchases, payments, and reimbursements.
- Update records related to international accreditation agencies like CAP and JCIA.
- Graduate degree from a recognized university.
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Strong follow-up skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
