What You Will Be Doing

• Crafting and maintaining an AI-driven finance system tailored to the demands of rapidly expanding educational ventures
• Authoring critical design decisions to streamline and amplify essential finance workflows
• Reviewing in-depth analyses and improvement strategies with written guidance that refines logic and educates both AI and human teams
• Engaging in pivotal discussions on budgeting, expansion, vendor partnerships, and compliance
• Ensuring the seamless operation of finance processes—tuition, audits, taxes—at scale

Regional Financial Controller Key Responsibilities

Design and manage a streamlined, AI-centric finance infrastructure that fuels multiple high-growth educational enterprises, ensuring efficiency and scalability without excess.

Basic Requirements

• CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA, or MBA credentials
• Over 10 years in finance leadership roles such as Finance Manager, Controller, CFO, or similar, showcasing scope and career advancement
• Experience in a senior finance leadership capacity (SVP, CFO, or similar) with comprehensive oversight of all fundamental finance functions
• Strong grasp of US GAAP and consolidated financial statements
• Extensive experience in operating and enhancing ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, etc.), ideally within complex, multi-entity settings
• Led or conducted 5+ external audits with a Big 4 firm, as either the auditor or the client
• Exceptional written and spoken English communication skills, with the ability to interact directly with senior leadership
• Residency within UTC-8 to UTC+3 time zones

• Understanding of K-12 educational models in the U.S. (private, charter, ESA programs)
• Experience in developing finance automation or AI-centric workflows from the ground up
• Background in finance operations within multi-entity, cross-jurisdictional organizations

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $200 USD/hour, which equates to $400,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
