Job Description:
We are undertaking a large-scale CRM and platform modernization program, moving from a legacy AMS toSalesforce. We're seeking aSalesforceDeveloperwho will play a key role in configuring, customizing, and extendingSalesforceto support core business operations across membership, certifications, chapters, events, and marketing.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain customSalesforcecomponents, including Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components, and flows to meet business requirements.
- ConfigureSalesforceSales Cloud, Experience Cloud, and complex data models to support multi-level membership, certification workflows, and chapter structures.
- Collaborate with implementation partners and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
- Support integration efforts across key platforms (SSO, marketing automation, LMS, event registration, financial systems) using secure APIs and middleware.
- Implement validation rules, process builders, and declarative automation to streamline processes and ensure data quality.
- Establish and maintain rigorous role-based security, audit trails, and privacy compliance (GDPR/CCPA).
- Participate in data migration validations, UAT, and address technical issues as they arise.
- Contribute to unit testing, regression, and automated test frameworks to maintain stable deployments.
- 3+ years of hands-onSalesforceconfiguration and development experience, including Apex, SOQL, Lightning components.
- SalesforcePlatform Developer I certification (Platform App Builder or Admin certifications also valued).
- Expertise with declarative automation tools (flows, process builder) and advancedSalesforcedata models.
- Familiarity withSalesforceintegration patterns (REST/SOAP APIs, event-driven integrations, middleware such as MuleSoft or Boomi a plus).
- Strong understanding of platform security models, encryption, and data compliance.
- Ability to work in an agile, sprint-driven environment and adapt to shifting priorities.
- Experience with large data migrations and complex record relationships.
- Prior work in membership, nonprofit, or multi-entity data environments.
- Familiarity with Jira, automated deployment pipelines, or testing frameworks.
