Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Learning & Development & Compliance Officer to lead employee training initiatives and ensure company-wide policy compliance. This dual-role combines strategic L&D planning with critical compliance oversight—supporting employee growth while fostering a fair, legally aligned, and high-performing work culture.

Key Responsibilities Learning & Development
  • Develop and implement onboarding, technical training, and professional development programs.

  • Design competency-based learning paths for teams in clinical research, operations, and support functions.

  • Coordinate ISO-related trainings (e.g., ISO 9001:2015, GCP, regulatory compliance).

  • Organize workshops, cross-training, and career development initiatives.

  • Track training attendance, feedback, and effectiveness using Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, SharePoint, Power Automate).

  • Promote a learning culture through internal knowledge-sharing and development activities.

Policy Compliance & Documentation
  • Ensure adherence to HR policies, ISO standards, and Pakistani labor laws.

  • Maintain accurate records for all HR compliance activities, policies, training sessions, and audit requirements.

  • Prepare for internal and external audits by ensuring timely documentation and procedural compliance.

  • Collaborate with department heads to enforce policy consistency and risk mitigation.

Employee Grievance Handling
  • Act as a neutral, confidential contact for employee concerns and grievances.

  • Conduct investigations with fairness, discretion, and timely resolution.

  • Maintain grievance logs and case documentation for audit and reporting purposes.

  • Educate employees on grievance redressal channels, anti-harassment policies, and workplace conduct.

Reporting & Analysis
  • Monitor trends in employee learning needs, compliance gaps, and grievance submissions.

  • Generate actionable insights and reports for senior leadership.

  • Proactively recommend improvements in training strategy or compliance controls based on data.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.

  • 4–6 years of experience in Learning & Development, HR Compliance, or Employee Relations—ideally in clinical research, healthcare, or regulated industries.

  • Proven facilitation, training, and documentation skills.

  • High integrity and emotional intelligence in dealing with sensitive issues.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Power Automate) or experience with an LMS/HRMS is a plus.
