The Role:

Business analysts help to define business problems via in-depth investigation and gathering of technical and non-technical information. Once the issue is clearly understood, they outline detailed requirements for a solution and ensure the delivered solution meets those business requirements.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Act as a business module owner, assuming ownership of the team's business scope and the related systems.
  2. Independently analyze business requirements with internal departments.
  3. Assess various solutions from a functional and technical perspective.
  4. Coordinate internal workflows with regard to new product functionalities.
  5. Write technical documents for developers, including reference manuals and product manuals.
  6. Write procedural documentation such as user stories for the product.
  7. Meet with engineers, programmers, and project managers to learn about specific products or processes.
  8. Research product samples to fully understand the product.
  9. Create or work with different stakeholders to create diagrams, charts, and other visual aids to assist readers in understanding a product or process.
  10. Conduct internal presentations/training/communication of the team modules and newly developed functionalities.
  11. Module responsibility for approval, development, and maintenance throughout the life cycle.

Skills & Qualifications:

  1. Excellent communication skills, both written and orally.
  2. Strong interpersonal, organizational skills and a team player.
  3. Positive can-do attitude and a flexible approach.
  4. Excellent analytical skills and detail-oriented.
  5. Ability to learn new technology/systems/applications quickly.
  6. Capability to "think on your feet", solve problems and predict and resolve future issues.
  7. Strong stakeholder management skills and an ability to partner effectively with all Technology and business units.

Knowledge & Experience:

  1. Experience of creating user stories within the payment space (Full stack).
  2. At least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
  3. Proven ability to develop solution design documents and functional specification documents.
  4. Ability to gather business requirements and understand and translate them into technical requirements.
  5. Minimum 2 years of experience in the payments industry.
