Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced IT Support Technician to join our team. The role involves providing comprehensive IT support across multiple company locations, including remote offices. The candidate will manage IT operations, including desktop, network, and server support, along with backup management and troubleshooting technical issues. This position requires on-call availability for after-hours support and may involve travel between company locations.

Must Have Skillsets (Mandatory)

  1. Technical Expertise: Proficient in computer hardware, operating systems, software, and networking.
  2. IT Support Experience: Proven experience in IT support roles, diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
  3. Desktop & Network Support: Ability to support and maintain laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, and basic networking functions.
  4. System Maintenance: Experience with setting up and configuring laptops/desktops, applying security patches, antivirus installation, and troubleshooting hardware issues.
  5. Backup & Recovery: Skilled in managing backups, tape rotation, and Exchange server mailbox maintenance, including archiving.
  6. User Management: Setting up new users and disabling expired accounts as per HR requirements.
  7. Problem Solving: Ability to provide step-by-step troubleshooting instructions to users and handle remote support effectively.

Good to Have Skillsets (Optional)

  1. MAC Support: Experience providing support for MAC PCs and other office IT equipment.
  2. Networking Skills: Familiarity with creating network cables (Cat 6), patching of networks, and IP phones.
  3. Project Experience: Experience with small- to medium-sized IT projects.
  4. Ticketing Systems: Experience with raising and following up on tickets within SLA guidelines.

Qualifications and Experience

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field.
  2. Experience: 3+ years of IT support experience, including hardware, software, and networking.
  3. Availability: Ready to travel between locations and provide on-call support outside of normal working hours.
