We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leveraging freelancing portals like Upwork, with 3 to 5 years of proven experience in this domain. This role requires excellent communication skills, strategic thinking, and a solid understanding of business intelligence platforms such as Crunch base .
Key Responsibilities:
- Freelancing Portal Management: Utilize platforms like Upwork to source, engage, and secure freelance talent for various projects. Develop and implement strategies to enhance our presence and reputation on these portals.
- Client Acquisition: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through effective client outreach and relationship management.
- Proposal Writing: Create compelling proposals and presentations to attract and secure new business. Tailor proposals to meet client needs and project requirements.
- Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients. Ensure client satisfaction through regular updates and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, potential clients, and new business opportunities. Utilize tools like Crunchbase to gather insights and inform strategies.
- Networking: Build and maintain a strong professional network. Attend industry events, participate in online forums, and engage in community activities to promote the company and identify potential business opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in business development, particularly within freelancing platforms like Upwork.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Knowledge of Crunch base: Proficient in using Crunch base for market research and business intelligence.
- Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical skills with the ability to think strategically and identify new business opportunities.
- Relationship Management: Proven ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
