About The Role

As an SMB Expansion Account Executive, you will work with Motive's largest revenue line. SMB customers constitute the majority of our customer base and are our primary revenue stream. We seek professionals with a proven success record, high motivation, international exposure to US customers and culture, and a commitment to skill refinement.

A successful SMB Account Executive is coachable, receptive to feedback, eager to learn, and committed to continuous improvement. Strong interpersonal skills, technical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively are essential. Collaboration and a team-oriented mindset are crucial, especially in our fast-paced, quota-driven environment that values flexibility and adaptability.

What You'll Do
  1. Develop strong relationships with clients and understand their business to identify growth opportunities.
  2. Assess prospects to identify pain points and align solutions accordingly.
  3. Demo Motive software to fleet managers and strategic SMB clients.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support and expand customer accounts.
  5. Support contract renewals proactively to ensure customer retention.
  6. Address and resolve issues effectively, thinking critically to determine the best solutions.
  7. Plan and execute strategies to meet and exceed business and revenue goals.
  8. Deepen understanding of our platform and incorporate market feedback for continuous improvement.
  9. Stay informed about market trends to provide consultative insights.
What We're Looking For
  1. Bachelor's Degree, preferably with overseas exposure to US/UK/Canada B2B markets.
  2. At least 2 years of relevant or transferable experience post-higher education.
  3. Ownership-driven attitude from opportunity identification to closing deals.
  4. Leadership or management experience influencing stakeholders and decision-makers.
  5. Ability to build rapport with executives and influence outcomes through understanding client needs and Motive's solutions.
  6. Exceptional communication skills to convey value propositions and handle objections effectively.
