Job Summary:

This critical pipeline integrity management position requires an individual with expertise in Cathodic protection.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Maintain Asset Protection: Conduct regular inspections, perform maintenance tasks, and maintain accurate records to guarantee optimal asset performance.
  • Manage Maintenance Records: Regularly update and manage maintenance records, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Implement EAM Programs: Develop and oversee the implementation of programs aimed at maximizing asset lifespan and efficiency.
  • Prevent Pipeline Corrosion: Regularly review coating and wrapping conditions, identifying areas that require attention to prevent pipeline corrosion.
  • Evaluate Pipeline Integrity: Perform bi-annual pipe-to-soil potential surveys, DCVG, CIPS, and other assessments to evaluate pipeline integrity.
  • Coordinate External Partnerships: Effectively communicate with external partners, ensuring seamless project execution and timely delivery.
  • Develop Coating Rehabilitation and Monitoring Plans: Design and implement comprehensive plans for coating rehabilitation and corrosion monitoring, minimizing risks and optimizing results.
  • Design FEED for New Pipelines: Utilize expertise to design and arrange Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) for new pipelines, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Monitor Ground Bed Activities: Regularly inspect and renew ground bed activities, maintaining optimal performance and preventing issues.
  • Plan Recoating and Field Tests: Conduct field tests and plan recoating based on survey results, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
  • Diagnose System Issues and Prepare Reports: Identify and diagnose system issues, conduct interference testing, and prepare detailed reports to inform decision-making.
  • Collaborate in Pipeline Design and Installation: Collaborate with teams to design, install, and conduct post-installation surveys, ensuring optimal pipeline performance.
  • Maintain Compliance and Provide Training: Maintain awareness of industry standards and regulations, ensuring compliance throughout all aspects of the job, and provide training on corrosion control best practices.
  • Risk Management and Response Strategies: Proactively identify, assess, and manage risks, develop effective response strategies, and closely monitor their implementation.
