Full-stack Developer Position

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled full-stack developer to join our team.

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced full-stack developer with expertise in architecting, designing, developing and supporting custom IP analysis applications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data structures and algorithms, as well as experience in building user interfaces using technologies like Angular / React JS and other necessary web technologies.

They should also be comfortable working in an extremely agile environment and be able to effectively communicate with business partners, analysts, project managers & team members on functional & technical aspects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze functional requirements and translate them into well-engineered code that complies with accepted industry standards.
  • Own assigned user stories with minimal supervision.
  • Guide junior team members on development standards, good design practices etc. & ensure compliance as needed.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and make constructive suggestions for change.
  • Manage priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders on functional & technical aspects.

Technical Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Java 8 or higher, Python, Groovy, Spring, Hibernate.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Good understanding of data structures and algorithms.
  • Hands-on experience in full-stack development along with experience on building user interfaces using technologies like Angular / React JS and other necessary web technologies.
  • Exposure in building cloud-native software preferably with AWS.
  • Exposure in designing and developing data models using RDBMS (Oracle, MySQL, etc.) and NoSQL (MongoDB).
  • Exposure in building solutions using Apache Solr or Elastic search.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of IT-relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree in a technical field OR 5+ years of IT-relevant work experience without a Bachelor's degree.
  • 3+ years of any combination of academic or work experience with Full-stack Application Development (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.).
  • 1+ year of any combination of academic or work experience with Data Structures, algorithms, and data stores.
