This role is a key contributor to the sales cycle, working closely with customers and internal teams to design and deliver cutting-edge IoT solutions.

About the Role

  • Solution Design & Architect: Work with the sales team to design and propose IoT solutions tailored to meet customer needs. Act as a subject matter expert during customer meetings and provide technical advice regarding IoT architectures, components, and deployment strategies.
  • Pre-sales Presentations & Demonstrations: Deliver product demos, presentations, and technical workshops to customers, effectively communicating the value proposition and capabilities of the IoT solutions in alignment with customer requirements.
  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with customers to understand their technical and business requirements. Translate these requirements into effective solutions that meet the business goals while addressing scalability, security, and operational needs.
  • Proposal Creation: Develop detailed technical proposals and responses to Requests for Proposal (RFPs), including cost estimates, architectural diagrams, solution descriptions, and project timelines.
  • Proof of Concept (PoC) & Pilot Projects: Lead or support the development and execution of Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and pilot projects for potential customers to demonstrate the feasibility and benefits of the proposed IoT solutions.
  • Competitive Analysis: Conduct technical analysis of competitor offerings, identifying differentiators and helping to position the company's IoT solutions more effectively in the marketplace.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, product, and platform teams to ensure proposed solutions are technically viable and can be successfully delivered. Ensure smooth transitions from presales to the delivery phase.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • IoT Technologies: Strong understanding of IoT technologies and architectures, including IoT platforms, cloud computing, edge computing, connectivity, sensors, and devices.
  • IoT Protocols: Familiarity with IoT protocols, network topologies, and cloud integration, including AWS IoT, Azure IoT, and Google Cloud IoT.
  • Analytics and Data Processing: Knowledge of analytics and data processing frameworks in the context of IoT solutions.
  • Enterprise IT Systems: Exposure to enterprise IT systems and understanding of security, scalability, and compliance in IoT implementations.
