About the Role:
As a key member of our banking team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth processing of general banking activities. Your excellent communication skills and conflict management abilities will enable you to provide top-notch customer service.
- You will be responsible for assisting customers with routine account-related requests, such as stop payments, updating customer details, and removing dormancy.
- With your numerical and financial analysis skills, you will record denominations for cash transactions and request additional cash as needed.
- You will balance, sort, and reconcile re-issuable, sorted, unsorted, soiled, defected, and fresh currency notes before placing them in the vault at day-end.
- Liaising with other teams is crucial to ensure business continuity, floor management, and service quality.
- You will recover applicable service charges on instruments/banking facilities as per standard operating procedures.
- Maintaining clean ratings in reviews/inspections from quality assurance units and regulatory bodies is essential.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, or a related field (preferred)
- 1+ years of relevant experience
- Numerical and financial analysis skills
- Understanding of financial services, banking products, and banking operations
- Good understanding of anti-money laundering/know-your-customer regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Knowledge and experience of Islamic Banking
