Operations Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Coordinator to join our team. This role will involve supervising operational activities, ensuring compliance with internal rules and regulations, and supporting the development of operational staff.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and supervise all operational activities, including account opening, TDRs, remittances, clearing, cash management, and other tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant internal rules and regulations, and maintain accurate records of branch performance.
  • Support the development of operational staff through coaching, training, and mentoring.
  • Solve conflicts and issues arising from staff or branch operations, in collaboration with branch managers.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain awareness of costs and income generation to ensure adequate branch profitability.
  • Communicate results and trends from the monthly Branch Performance Report and other relevant business reports to operational staff.
  • Maintain the upkeep and maintenance of branch premises and fixed assets.
  • Manage branch expenses within allocated limits.
  • Be responsible for branch security issues, following internal guidelines.
  • Ensure timely payment to vendors and suppliers.
  • Perform cash handling duties in the absence of a teller.
