Job Title: Senior Business Director

Overview: As a seasoned business leader with extensive experience in senior management and leadership roles, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and playing a key role in managing activities related to natural gas distribution.

  • Key Responsibilities: 1. Build, develop, and manage operations for natural gas distribution in assigned service areas. 2. Manage and guide the workforce to meet customer performance expectations and company targets. 3. Serve as a business team manager for natural gas distribution and foster positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and industry partners. 4. Arrange safe work practices and implement company safety programs. 5. Provide direct leadership to designated management teams and mentor employees to achieve high performance levels. 6. Oversee multiple construction projects, including job site visits to ensure timely completion within budget and schedule. 7. Escalate complex problems and assist in root cause assessment and resolution. 8. Act as the administrative head of assigned Service Business Units (SBUs) and ensure maintenance, operation, extension, and improvement of systems under supervision. 9. Maintain approved organization structures and staffing levels to ensure SBU functions are carried out effectively. 10. Oversee Technical Operations functions to formulate plans for operating, maintaining, improving, and expanding gas distribution systems based on economical operation and financial return. 11. Review performance of natural gas distribution networks to ensure safe, smooth, and uninterrupted supply of natural gas to domestic, industrial, and commercial consumers. 12. Explore, analyze, and determine feasible options for system expansion within available organizational goals for service delivery to customer groups. 13. Build capabilities and motivation of business teams to improve sales, billing, recovery, and customer relations in each region of the SBU. 14. Ensure implementation of initiatives to minimize Unaccounted for Gas (UFG) through approved UFG plans and focus on Key Monitoring Indicators. 15. Implement company vision, culture, and performance standards across all levels of the division. 16. Agree and set performance targets, oversee overall safety, licensing, quality, schedule compliance, and work within project budgets. 17. Act as a mentor for key personnel within the division for execution of duties and ensure improvement in skills for effective succession planning. 18. Oversee placement of management personnel to guarantee optimal execution of duties within the division at all times.
