Skillful Software Engineer Wanted

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Software Engineer to join our agile team. As a key member of the engineering department, you will play a vital role in designing, developing, and maintaining systems and technologies that drive our solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop scalable solutions serving millions of users daily.
  • Contribute to building and maintaining policies, procedures, and technical assets in our cloud infrastructure.
  • Support various teams with technical vision in core areas of interest for our products.
  • Work on cloud-based development and deployment including AWS (EC2, SQS, S3, RDS, Aurora).
  • Collaborate with service delivery teams to support product deployments to the cloud.
  • Understand and use our technical architectures, tools, and techniques to build powerful, efficient, flexible, and scalable solutions.
  • Perform basic database administration, performance optimization, index optimization, writing advanced select queries, replacing cursor usage with relational SQL.
  • Collaborate with product owners, scrum masters, and other developers to deliver quality products using JIRA and Git.
Requirements:
  • Hands-on 5+ years experience in developing complex projects preferably in communications domain using Java Spring Framework.
  • Hands-on experience in Web Development HTML CSS JS.
  • Practical experience in queuing systems/message brokers like ActiveMQ RabbitMQ Kafka Beanstalk SQS etc.
  • Practical experience with cache technologies like Memcached Redis.
  • Experience coding in Python.
  • Solid experience managing Linux servers and applications Nginx apache2 etc.
  • Proficiency in a Linux environment and consuming designing RESTful APIs.
  • Solid experience with full Software Development Lifecycle Distributed Architectures REST SOAP Queue-based Microservices Architecture.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering Software or related discipline or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with software project management tools similar to Agile Maven and Git.
  • Experienced with using cloud hosting technologies like AWS.
  • Familiar with SaaS and PaaS integration architecture and applications.
  • General knowledge in telecommunications SMSC VOIP SMPP etc.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving analytical skills.
