Job Description

We are seeking a talented professional to fill the role of Senior Data Scientist. This is a mid-senior level position that requires a strong foundation in data science and machine learning.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing predictive models, analyzing large datasets, and communicating findings to stakeholders. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive business decisions and improve operational efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Education
  • PhD/MSc in Applied Economics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Strong foundation in probability, linear algebra, optimization, and micro/macroeconomics.
  • Technical
  • 5+ years of professional experience building predictive models and statistical analyses.
  • Fluency in Python (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, PyTorch) and R.
  • Expert user of SQL and at least one cloud data stack (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Hands-on with econometric suites (EViews, Stata) and scientific computing tools (MATLAB, SPSS).
  • Communication
  • Track record of turning technical findings into compelling narratives for mixed audiences.
