Accounting Leadership Role

We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to oversee day-to-day operations, manage client relationships, and lead our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of GAAP standards, excellent communication skills, and proven leadership experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage client communications, respond to queries, and maintain high service standards
  • Prepare company accounts
  • Prepare and review corporation tax returns
  • Prepare and review self-assessment tax returns
  • Oversee and support junior accounting staff, including work review and training
  • Monitor and ensure timely delivery of client work and compliance with deadlines
  • Maintain internal processes and workflows for efficiency and accuracy
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of UK accounting experience
  • Demonstrated ability to manage staff and oversee workloads in a remote setting
  • C1-level English proficiency (verbal and written)
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience working in a client-facing role within an accounting practice
  • Organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities
  • ACCA or equivalent qualification
