Operational Risk Manager

We are seeking a skilled Operational Risk Manager to join our team. As an Operational Risk Manager, you will be responsible for conducting operational risk assessments of business units by visiting sample units to ensure control effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct operational risk assessments of business units by visiting sample units to ensure control effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with Business & Functions representatives to gather control and risk metrics for monitoring Operational Risk Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).
  • Review bank policies, procedures, and products to identify gaps and ensure regulatory compliance, proposing banking best practices proactively.
  • Prepare risk assessment reports based on data analysis.

Development & Implementation of Incident Reporting and Risk Management Tools:

  • Develop mechanisms for incident reporting and loss database covering all bank-wide near-misses and losses.
  • Report and escalate significant operational risk events.

Awareness & Training:

  • Conduct awareness and training sessions at assigned branches.

The ideal candidate should have strong interpersonal, communication, team building, and management skills. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related fields is necessary, along with preferably 3-5 years of experience in accounting, finance, risk management, or banking industry.
