Job Title

Lead Manager IT Audit - Technical Operations

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support senior management in conducting annual audits to assess internal controls, identify ineffective practices and recommend improvements.
  2. Assist in preparing internal audit reports for operational processes and functions.
  3. Develop an annual risk-based internal audit plan for technical operations.
  4. Participate in audit planning meetings to understand risks and define roles.
  5. Prepare pre-audit presentations for management team.
  6. Identify risks and controls, and prepare comprehensive audit programs.
  7. Ensure effective risk assessments and audit plans are in place.
  8. Perform audit fieldwork according to the plan, executing procedures and tests with quality standards.
  9. Document controls and test their effectiveness to ensure compliance.
  10. Audit physical operations including Cathodic Protection, ROW, DI shop and pipeline rehabilitation services.
  11. Establish mitigating controls for operational policies and procedures.
  12. Monitor audit processes to ensure thoroughness with minimal disruption to business operations.
  13. Develop a thorough understanding of activities, risks and controls for audit quality and integrity.
  14. Accurately assess compliance and document findings.
  15. Prepare detailed audit reports and submit for review and approval.
  16. Recommend strategic improvements based on key performance indicators analysis.
  17. Collaborate with departments to implement audit recommendations and follow up on progress.
  18. Communicate identified risks from audit observations to relevant stakeholders.
  19. Ensure strict compliance with Enterprise Risk Management Framework and company policies.
