Logistics Support Specialist

The Logistics Support Specialist is responsible for coordinating and monitoring supply chain operations to ensure timely delivery of goods. This includes planning and tracking shipments according to customer requirements, keeping accurate logs and records of all transactions, and preparing detailed reports for upper management on a regular basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations.
  • Plan and track shipments according to customer requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong background in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of logistics software and computer systems.
  • Advanced command of written and spoken English to communicate effectively with colleagues.
  • Familiarity with Incoterms and import-export operations is a plus.
  • Experience with QuickBooks is preferred.
  • Bilingual skills in Spanish are also preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Descartes software is a plus; training will be provided.
  • Ability to develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and other documentation as needed.
