
Strategic Talent Developer

The Head of Talent Management for a Business Unit is responsible for delivering talent development solutions, learning and development interventions, culture and engagement initiatives, and ensuring their effectiveness. This role is connected to the Centers of Excellence (COEs) for tools, processes, and best practices.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with HR Business Partners, Strategy and Development Teams, and COEs to support talent management, learning and development, and culture and engagement initiatives for a Business Unit, aligned with current and future business needs.
- Collaborate with COEs to tailor talent management, learning and development, and culture and engagement programs to local requirements. Own end-to-end delivery of processes and tools, and measure their effectiveness.
- Lead a team to ensure high-quality execution and local deployment of broad-based talent management, learning and development tools, and frameworks as per COE strategies.
- Promote and lead COE, learning and development, and culture and engagement initiatives relevant to the business.
- Implement diversity and inclusion programs that meet the needs of a changing, global workforce for a Business Unit.
- Manage the complete People Planning Process lifecycle, including planning, analysis, insights, defining local/functional plans, strategy, delivery, and follow-up to feed into sector people planning discussions.
- Provide expert guidance and governance on all elements of the People Planning Process to ensure consistent and high-quality local/functional execution.
- Execute follow-through of succession planning outcomes, partnering with the Talent Management COE and HR Business Partners as needed.
- Collaborate with the Assessment and Development COE to execute and follow up on key activities such as leadership assessments.
- Lead recognition and rewards programs.
- Conduct detailed training needs analysis based on business needs and deliver on the agreed learning and development calendar.
- Strong understanding of talent management and learning and development principles and practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Able to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
- Familiarity with COE strategies and processes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
