Supply Chain Manager Role

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to oversee the import and export customs clearance process. This role involves ensuring compliance with all regulatory authorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customs Clearance Process Management: Manage customs clearance for imports and exports, adhering to FBR, WeBOC, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Documentation Preparation and Review: Prepare and review customs documents (Goods Declaration, Bill of Lading, Invoice, Packing List, HS Codes, Duty & Tax Calculations) to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with freight forwarders, clearing agents, port authorities, and customs officials to facilitate timely clearance.
  • Shipment Monitoring and Resolution: Track shipment status and resolve clearance delays or discrepancies by communicating with relevant stakeholders.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to Pakistan Customs laws, SROs, and import/export regulations.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of shipments, customs duties, and logistics documentation.
  • Supply Chain Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, warehouse, and sales teams to optimize supply chain operations.
  • Negotiation and Cost Optimization: Assist in negotiating freight rates and optimizing logistics costs.
  • Regulatory Updates: Stay informed about changes in customs regulations, tariffs, and trade policies in Pakistan.
