Network Engineer

As a seasoned Network Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing and maintaining high-performance networks. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring seamless connectivity across Pakistan, supporting the current needs and future expansion plans of our clients.

  • Participate actively in deployments across Pakistan to ensure timely and efficient delivery of projects.
  • Develop High-Level Designs (HLD) and Low-Level Designs (LLD) to guide the implementation of network configurations.
  • Handle JTAC and Cisco TAC cases with precision, resolving technical issues efficiently.
  • Create Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for both Cisco and Juniper products, streamlining procurement processes.
  • Collaborate with the enterprise-level architecture team to implement network configurations, including subnet and VLAN implementation, VOIP telephony solutions, VPN tunneling, and wireless LAN implementation at various locations.
  • Contribute to network design, integration, optimization, and migration initiatives to enhance overall network performance.
  • Provide expert engineering support for troubleshooting, identifying root causes of connectivity problems, outages, or performance degradations in the network.
  • Work closely with team members to identify and resolve customer satisfaction issues related to integration.
  • Maintain network security, ensuring compliance with established security policies and procedures.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • Extensive knowledge of routing protocols and switching technologies.
  • Advanced understanding of network design, network architecture, protocols, and network topology.
  • Excellent communication skills, enabling you to effectively collaborate with end-users, meet deadlines, and provide clear explanations.
Education and Experience

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering is essential, along with a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in the field.

  • Hold relevant technical certifications, such as JNCIA-JUNOS, JNCIS, JNCIP, CCNA, or CCNP.

  • Technical competencies: R&S, VIOP, Security.
  • Behavioral/General competencies: Extremely organized and highly motivated, Team Leader; Strong directive and team building skills, Strong customer/consumer orientation, Excellent communication and presentation skills.
