Job Title: Technical Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our team. This role involves applying deep technical expertise to solve complex infrastructure challenges, drive automation, and improve system performance, availability, and scalability.

As a trusted engineer, you will influence technical direction and drive continuous improvement in systems operations and reliability.

You will work across multiple technologies, contributing to architecture decisions and ensuring operational excellence.

  • Root cause analysis
  • Tracking and improving operational metrics and SLAs
  • Driving process automation
  • Managing incident response
  • Creating high-quality documentation, KBAs and SOPs
Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have a strong eagerness to learn, and will be supported with on-the-job learning and mentorship across multiple technologies and platforms.

They will work with different tools and platforms to support operations, reporting, and collaboration:

  • ServiceNow – for ticketing, incident tracking, and change management
  • Jira & Confluence – for task tracking, documentation, and team collaboration
  • Alteryx – for data pipeline orchestration and transformation
  • Teradata – for large-scale enterprise data querying
  • Tidal – for job scheduling and automation
  • SQL Databases – for querying, maintaining, and troubleshooting system data
  • Visio & Lucidchart – for system architecture and process diagramming
Requirements:

The following qualifications are required:

  • 1 to 2 years of experience as a System Engineer and a bachelor's degree
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a commitment to meeting SLAs and KPIs
  • Solid understanding of databases and SQL

The preferred candidate will also have hands-on experience with the mentioned technologies, or a willingness to learn through self-directed study.
