Islamic Banking Regulation Leader

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our regulatory efforts in Shariah aspects of Islamic Banking. As Senior Manager, Regulations, you will be responsible for ensuring timely compliance with regulatory requirements.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining a Master Regulatory Tracker to ensure regulatory compliance is up-to-date.
- Preparing executive summaries for new notices, regulations, standards, and guidelines.
- Conducting gap assessments on laws and regulations and communicating new developments to stakeholders.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 8-10 years of experience in an Islamic Bank in Shari'ah Audit/Shari'ah Compliance/Islamic Product Development.
- A bachelor's degree or professional qualification in Business/Accounting.
- In-depth understanding of AAOIFI Shari'ah Standards.
- Strong communication and writing skills, as well as the ability to interact with technical teams.
Significant exposure to Shari'ah principles through studies, courses, or extensive on-job learning would be advantageous.
You should also have strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly PowerPoint.
