Job Title:

Operations Management Specialist

About the Role:

The Operations Management Specialist will oversee township exchange operations by managing field teams, provisioning services, rectifying faults, rehabilitating networks, achieving migration targets, planning expansions, resolving technical issues, maintaining GPON performance, ensuring quick fault resolution, complying with HSE standards, and providing accurate operational data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage township exchange operations for both fiber and copper networks
  • Provision new services while meeting all defined service KPIs
  • Rectify customer faults promptly within established service standards
  • Rehabilitate network infrastructure to enhance customer experience
  • Achieve fiber migration targets on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
  • Prepare planning data for new fiber network deployments
  • Handle technical issues across PSTN/DSL/IPTV/GPON services
  • Monitor and improve GPON CHI metrics in assigned domain
  • Mobilize maintenance teams quickly for fault rectification
  • Ensure HSE compliance in all daily operations
  • Maintain accurate data for regional management reporting
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • Familiarity with fiber and copper network technologies, PSTN/DSL/IPTV/GPON systems, service provisioning and fault management, network rehabilitation techniques, and KPI monitoring and reporting
  • Strong team coordination and mobilization skills, data analysis and reporting skills, HSE compliance awareness, and problem-solving skills in field operations
