About the Role

This Key Account Manager position plays a vital role in driving business expansion through strategic relationship-building and sales performance.

Main Responsibilities
  1. New Business Development: Identify new customers and continually work to increase our presence in the market.
  2. Sales Data Analysis: Monitor and analyze sales data to understand customer needs and stay ahead of market trends.
  3. Consultative Selling: Employ excellent consultative sales skills to effectively communicate with clients and showcase the value of our products.
  4. Client Relationships: Foster and maintain strong relationships with key clients and decision-makers to ensure long-term business success.
  5. Management Reporting: Provide regular, detailed reports to management, highlighting sales performance and opportunities for growth.
  6. Competitor Intelligence: Stay informed about competitor activities within major accounts and adjust our strategies accordingly.
  7. Sales Presentations: Create engaging sales presentations to demonstrate the credibility and success of our business and its products.
  8. Pricing Strategy Collaboration: Work closely with management to develop pricing strategies that align with business objectives.
  9. Supplier Partnerships: Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers as needed to support our business operations.
  10. Sales Strategy Development: Develop and propose sales strategies for approval by senior management.Requirements for Success
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills: Possess excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain successful relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Proven Sales Track Record: Demonstrate a proven and successful sales history, showing the ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Desirable Technical Knowledge: A good technical background in the product area is highly desirable, though not essential.
  • Meeting Sales Objectives: Proven ability to effectively meet sales objectives and contribute to overall business growth.
  • Business Education: A degree in business studies would be an advantage but is not a requirement for this position.
