We are seeking a talented Attorney to join our Elder Law and Estate Planning team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a direct impact on clients' lives while working in a dynamic and supportive environment.

A typical day for an Associate Attorney at our firm will involve meeting with clients to discuss their legal needs, managing your own caseload of Elder Law and Estate Planning cases, and leading a team of paralegals and support staff. This is a hybrid work schedule that offers flexibility and stability.

Responsibilities
  • Represent clients in legal proceedings in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Draft and prepare estate planning documents, including Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, Living Wills, and Guardianship Pleadings.
  • Manage administrative and operational functions to ensure smooth practice operations and client satisfaction.
  • Advise clients on business and legal transactions, negotiating settlements and resolving disputes effectively.
Requirements
  • Licensed to practice law in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
  • Minimum 4 years of legal experience.
  • 2-3 years of experience in Elder Law and/or Estate Planning preferred.
  • Familiarity with various legal documents related to estate planning and elder law.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • A go-getter with a strong work ethic and proactive attitude.
  • Knowledge of Amicus Attorney Case Management Software is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to convey confidence in person, on the phone, and in court.
  • Demonstrates empathy for clients, providing reassurance during challenging times.
  • Detail-oriented, ensuring quality and precision in all tasks.
  • Outcome-oriented with a focus on delivering results.
  • Stable, with strong processes and structured approach to work.
  • Team-oriented, cooperative, and collaborative with colleagues.
  • Honesty and commitment to maintaining ethical and trustworthy actions in all professional dealings.
