Food Safety Auditor Position

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Lead Auditor - Food. This role involves conducting audits to ensure the quality and safety of foods across various types.
About the Position:
- The successful candidate will have experience in quality assurance, food safety functions, auditing, and/or farm management.
- They will be responsible for conducting audits in line with our Quality Assurance System, including the Code of Ethics and the Group policy.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement audit plans and coordinate with clients as per shared agendas.
- Maintain adherence to all food safety standards/protocols/codes of conduct.
- Use updated audit packs (checklists, forms, and tools) for conducting audits.
- Foster positive client relationships and respond to all client inquiries and concerns.
- Submit complete and accurate audit reports within established timelines to reviewing channels.
- Address all defects, concerns, and queries raised by reviewing channels in a timely manner.
- Develop competency to maintain qualification to conduct audits.
- Develop competency assessment packs to achieve maximum possible EA/NACE/Industrial/Service codes.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of latest versions of applicable laws, regulations, statutory requirements, and standards.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in food-related disciplines
• Experience in quality assurance, food safety functions, auditing, and/or farm management
• Knowledge of FSMS, HACCP, HALAL, FSSC, GG
• Familiarity with the third-party certification process
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in computer applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Database systems
