Terminal Operations Lead

This role ensures seamless collaboration between management and operational teams, fostering terminal growth through strategic policy implementation and fieldwork adherence to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Operational Excellence: Enhance terminal performance by optimizing expenses, developing cost-efficient strategies, and monitoring activities such as loading, dispatch, and imports.
  2. Strategic Support: Provide timely information for informed decision-making.
  3. Staff Management: Plan, implement, and oversee staff work to ensure efficiency and compliance with organizational and procedural standards.
  4. Dispatch Oversight: Monitor and direct dispatch activities, including tracking, routing, and transportation dispatching.
  5. Safety Initiatives: Conduct regular safety audits, hold meetings with staff, and participate in safety initiatives to promote a safe working environment and ongoing education.
  6. Policy Implementation: Implement necessary changes to transportation services, policies, or schedules.
  7. Compliance Management: Ensure staff compliance with safety, administrative, environmental policies, union contracts, and regulations.
  8. Operational Efficiency: Manage terminal operations to ensure smooth delivery and explore new business opportunities.
  9. Collaboration and Development: Collaborate with staff and managers to develop and modify goals, procedures, policies, and objectives.
  10. Technical Support: Support operational and technical staff in implementing procedures to meet quality and HSSE standards.
  11. Facilities Management: Coordinate with maintenance and service teams for terminal upkeep and upgrades.

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Petroleum Engineering.

15-20 years of relevant experience, including at least 8 years in senior management roles.
