Job Description

Our company is seeking a Sales Manager to lead our sales team and develop plans to address local business needs. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, be able to train and motivate the team, and ensure short-term and long-term objectives are met.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Set clear objectives to ensure delivery of goals in line with regional targets
  • Estimate and analyze category development potential for each category within FLP and create subsequent plans to grow shares in each category
  • Implement and cascade action plan to execute counter strategies
  • Responsible for achieving volume targets and target brand & pack deliverables
  • Review progress and take corrective action as appropriate
  • Ensure smooth flow of information to aid strategic decision making and maintain accurate financial & sales data
  • Monitor and manage trade discounts and distributor ROI
  • Implement quality measures at distributor outlets
  • Responsible for depot sales tracking and assist in strategic planning
  • Accountable for improving market share through new channels and optimal rack productivity
  • Develop team capability to address channel partner stability concerns
  • Analyze and propose promotions with positive financial impact
  • Market intelligence and competitor analysis
  • Ensure smooth execution of new product initiatives and merchandizing priorities
  • Propose process improvements with distributors and retailers
  • Maintain regular physical presence in the territory to understand customer needs
  • Assess and track team capability through ongoing feedback and KPI tracking
  • Conduct core skills assessment and field training to ensure market excellence

    Required Skills and Qualifications

    • Strong leadership and people management skills
    • University Graduate (BA)
    • Minimum 2-4 years in similar capacity
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Prioritization and sense of urgency skills
    • Proficient use of MS Office
    • Strong team player and multi-tasking ability
    • Analysis and control skills
