Job Description:

The Senior Business Development Manager will be responsible for maximizing passenger, cargo, and mail revenue for Gulf Air Group. This role involves planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the activities of the sales force to achieve set targets.

Main Duties:

  1. Maintain and Expand Business: The ideal candidate will maintain and expand business in the assigned area through effective negotiation and problem-solving with clients and travel agents.
  2. Negotiate Agreements: Strong negotiation skills are required to negotiate agreements with clients and resolve potential issues or problems.
  3. Develop Business Plans: The successful candidate will develop business plans to maximize revenues and create awareness of all products and services in the area.
  4. Analyze Market Conditions: Analyzing market conditions is crucial to pinpoint new breaks or prospects and possible threats.
  5. Implement Customer Service Procedures: Effective customer service procedures must be implemented to ensure customer satisfaction.
  6. Generate Management Reports: The Senior Business Development Manager will generate management reports for performance evaluation.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 7 years' experience in sales and marketing related disciplines.
  • Ability to think and act strategically.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally in a complex, highly competitive, and fast-moving business environment.
  • Creative, entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Outstanding commercial awareness/business acumen.
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of the Travel industry and corporate business.
