Job Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Telephony Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of telephony systems, including VoIP, SIP, and ACDs, as well as network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN and VPNs. This role requires hands-on involvement in planning, execution, and client coordination to ensure seamless transitions and implementations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a technical liaison between clients and internal teams (Telephony, Network, Security, Development)
  • Understand client infrastructure and requirements to design tailored tool migration strategies
  • Lead and manage tool migration projects end-to-end from scoping to go-live support
  • Plan and manage timelines using tools like Microsoft Project or Smartsheet
  • Ensure comprehensive documentation of processes, technical designs, and deliverables
  • Maintain smooth, proactive communication with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Track project issues and risks, ensuring timely resolutions and escalations
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with technical and operational standards
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 4–5 years of experience in client-facing technical project roles, with at least 2 years in tool migration or systems integration
  • Strong understanding oftelephony(VoIP, SIP, ACDs) andnetworking(LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls)
  • Familiarity withITSM tools,CRM, orWFM platformsis a plus
  • Skilled in project planning, documentation, and stakeholder engagement
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in tools such asSmartsheet,Microsoft Project,Jira, orConfluence
  • PMP or ITIL certification is a plus
