Global Payment Lead

We are seeking a Global Payment Lead to join our team and drive strategic partnerships in Pakistan.

  • Contact local acquirers and banks, build relationships, and negotiate commercial partnerships and agreements.
  • Work closely with internal teams on operations, product, and technology roadmaps and integrations.
  • Analyze performance results and optimize processes accordingly.
  • Improve operational capabilities for different payment methods.
  • Stay up-to-date with local regulatory requirements and engage with regulators as needed.
  • Maintain personal networks, participate in industry events, and attend conferences.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, partner with cross-functional teams, and lead strategic initiatives. As a Global Payment Lead, you will be responsible for driving growth through strategic partnerships, expanding our reach into emerging markets, and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute strategies to drive growth through strategic partnerships.
  2. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including acquirers, banks, and regulators.
  3. Collaborate with internal teams to integrate partnerships and optimize processes.
  4. Analyze performance data to inform business decisions and drive process improvements.
  5. Strengthen operational capabilities to support diverse payment methods.
  6. Ensure compliance with local regulations and maintain positive relationships with regulators.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in payments or financial systems, preferably in Pakistan.
  • Strong negotiation and partnership skills, with a proven track record of success.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally, building strong relationships with internal teams and external partners.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on process optimization.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to diverse cultures and environments.
