Key Position Overview

The objective of this role is to lead a team of Sales Engineers and drive commercial sales engagements.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team, providing coaching, performance feedback, and professional growth opportunities focused on product expertise and technical demonstration skills.
  • Oversee daily activities ensuring effective resource allocation and high-quality technical support for commercial sales engagements.
  • Collaborate with Commercial Sales Managers to strategize key accounts, identify customer pain points, and develop tailored technical solutions and demonstration plans.
  • Conduct regular meetings fostering collaboration, sharing best practices, and addressing challenges.
  • Review and approve technical proposals prepared by the team, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and impact.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues, providing guidance and support.
  • Contribute to training materials focusing on product knowledge, sales methodologies, and technical skills.
  • Participate in recruitment and help build a strong and diverse team.
  • Monitor performance metrics and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • Leadership experience in a technical pre-sales or Sales Engineering capacity.
  • Bachelor's Degree required, Bachelor's of Science preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Sales Engineer with a strong track record of success.
  • Excellent coaching and mentoring skills.
  • Strong understanding of commercial sales cycles.
  • Familiarity with value selling concepts.
  • Strong technical aptitude with SaaS, hardware, IoT, and potentially AI/ML technologies.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of the Pakistani market is a plus.
