Commercial Sales Manager Job Overview

Seeking a seasoned sales professional to lead high-performing sales teams and drive revenue growth in commercial sales.

  • This role involves working with large revenue streams for businesses in various sectors, including trucking, freight & logistics, construction, oil and gas, local delivery/services, and more.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to scale and manage global sales teams to achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets by selling technology products and services to businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Meet and exceed bookings and revenue targets with a team of Account Executives.
  2. Set and maintain pipeline targets, ensuring consistent execution and accountability.
  3. Ensure alignment with sales operations, CRM process, and sales management training programs to guarantee consistency and effectiveness across the organization.
  4. Pipeline planning and maintenance using a disciplined approach.
  5. Be proficient in technology offers, including ELD, Dashcam, and new products, and share best practices in sales and negotiation.
  6. Coach and mentor Account Executives to improve their skill set and enhance overall performance.
  7. Understand, audit, and forecast business to leadership.
  8. Deliver demos and negotiate deals sourced by the Account Executives.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2+ years in sales leadership experience, preferably in a technology or product company.
  • 4+ years of international sales experience, with a focus on the US market.
  • A degree with a concentration in marketing or management, preferably from a recognized university.
  • A proven track record in SaaS sales, with demonstrated success in transactions and a short sales cycle in a fast-paced competitive market.
  • Exceptional contractual and negotiation skills.
  • The ability to understand and hold team members accountable for pipeline management.
  • A self-starter who can take on ambiguous projects and be resourceful in completing them.
