Freight Sales Development Representative
We are seeking a highly motivated Freight Sales Development Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating qualified appointments for our clients through proactive outreach, mainly via cold calls.
Sales Development Representative Key Responsibilities:
- Make high volumes of outbound calls to prospects, introduce services, handle objections, and book meetings.
- Identify new business opportunities through cold calling.
- Collaborate with marketing to improve scripts and outreach strategies.
- Meet or exceed weekly and monthly targets for calls, leads, and booked meetings.
- Provide regular reports on call activity and outcomes.
- Contribute to lead generation strategies and outreach techniques.
- Assist in creating and refining cold call scripts.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure effective communication and alignment.
Requirements:
- Experience in cold calling, appointment setting, or related sales roles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle objections and convey product benefits effectively.
- Goal-oriented with a focus on achieving targets.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
