Job Title: Fabrication Manager

Our organization is seeking an experienced Fabrication Manager to oversee the procurement and sourcing of locally fabricated parts for our rice mill operations. The successful candidate will have a strong background in structural steel/fabrication engineering and design, with experience in structural designing, fabrication, and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing and evaluating procurement and sourcing requirements for locally fabricated parts.
  • Determining appropriateness of sole manufacturers, fabricators, and engineers.
  • Managing technical and contractual requirements with vendors.
  • Coordinating with local and international teams involved in project implementation.
  • Supervising technical aspects of the project.

Requirements:

  • More than 8 years of experience in a similar field with proven track record.
  • BE Mechanical/Civil/Material Sciences degree from a reputable institution.
  • Solid knowledge of Structural Steel/Fabrication Engineering & Design principles.
  • Experience in structural designing, fabrication, and execution processes.
  • Familiarity with milling industry (preferably with rice milling operations).
  • Good spoken and written English communication skills.
  • Strong communication, project management, and engineering skills.
