Job Description: Human Resource Manager - Plant Site

We are seeking an experienced Human Resource Manager to join our team and support the plant operations.

This key role requires a senior HR representative who can provide guidance and interpretation on all HR-related matters to plant management and staff.

The selected individual will be responsible for facilitating communication among employees and management within the guidelines of Industrial Relations regulations.

They will also guide managers and employees on problem-solving, dispute resolution, regulatory compliance, and litigation avoidance.

Additionally, they will facilitate the implementation of the performance management system, provide facilitation and support in that exercise, and recommend employee relations practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote high employee morale and motivation.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication, report writing, and presentation skills.

Able to influence at senior level, demonstrating need for change, self-starter with drive to achieve change even when confronted by obstacles.

Quick learning and adaptability, good negotiation skills, team builder.

Key Responsibilities:

- Act as the senior HR representative at the plant ensuring strong and active presence at all levels in the plant.

- Facilitate consistent and fair implementation of HR policies and procedures at the plant.

- Provide the plant management and staff with the necessary guidance and interpretation on all HR related matters.

- Facilitate communication among employees and management within the guidelines of Industrial Relations regulations.

- Guide managers and employees on problem solving, dispute resolution, regulatory compliance and litigation avoidance.

- Ensure proper implementation of the performance management system and provide the necessary facilitation and support in that exercise.

- Facilitate implementation of appropriate change management and succession planning initiatives associated with organizational development activities.

- Recommend employee relations practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee morale and motivation.

- Handle staffing needs at the plant site for both technical and non-technical positions.

- Attend to employees' inquiries on compensation & benefits.
