Project Manager – Data Centers Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead our data center projects from design and development to construction.

This is a full-time, on-site role that offers the chance to work in the thriving Information Technology & Services industry.

The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in project management, particularly in the data center domain.

About the Role

In this senior-level position, you will oversee all aspects of data center development, including planning, execution, and delivery. Your expertise will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

You will be responsible for managing relationships with various stakeholders, including clients, internal teams, contractors, and external vendors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Management: Define project objectives, create detailed project plans, allocate resources, and ensure timely completion.
  • Data Center Expertise: Oversee the integration of power, cooling, networking, and security systems to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
  • Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, address issues promptly, and ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead a team of professionals, provide guidance and support, and foster collaboration to achieve common objectives.
  • Communication and Coordination: Regularly update stakeholders on project progress, address any issues, and ensure smooth coordination throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Extensive Project Management Experience: At least 10 years of experience in project management, particularly in the data center domain.
  • Deep Knowledge of Data Center Operations: Familiarity with data center design, infrastructure, and systems, as well as the challenges involved in constructing and maintaining data centers.
  • Strong Stakeholder Management Skills: Ability to manage relationships with multiple stakeholders, communicate effectively, and resolve conflicts.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Proven ability to lead teams, inspire collaboration, and motivate individuals to achieve common objectives.
