Strategic Business Development Leader

The Citizens Foundation (TCF) is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Business Development Leader to develop and execute business strategy and management models that will help establish and sustain an organization rhythm.
The incumbent will create validation, verification, and reporting mechanisms for top data sets of the organization, establish key forums, and conduct research to create an optimum operating rhythm for TCF.
They will report to the General Manager Finance and collaborate extensively with all departments of the organization to run an efficient planning operating rhythm for TCF.
Main Responsibilities- Develop a strategic roadmap for the organization by reviewing TCF's long-term strategy and vision
- Define TCF's overall organizational Key Result Areas and Key Performance Indicators in collaboration with other departments
- Hold feedback loop sessions with senior stakeholders on the organization's key result areas and key performance indicators as a challenge process and make amendments if necessary
- Communicate TCF's key result areas and key performance indicators to senior management
- Drive the annual planning process and corresponding budget plans for the year, which are clearly aligned to the organization's strategic roadmap
- Conduct program and function-wise annual reviews to understand where the organization stands vis-a-vis its strategic roadmap
- Ensure ongoing review processes are in place for programs and functions on achievement against annual plans
- Research and operationalize remaining aspects of the organization rhythm
- Extract reports from multiple sources
- Establish verification and validation mechanisms for accurate data
- Build systems to transform raw data into actionable business insights
- Develop strategies for effective data analysis and reporting
- Select, configure, and implement analytics solutions
- Consolidate overall organization Key Result Areas and Key Performance Indicators across departments
- Track overall organization Key Result Areas and Key Performance Indicators through a dashboard
- Understand existing key forums and their purpose to develop proposals for future key forums and their purpose
- Establish key forums and operationalize them
- Ensure presence of the operating rhythm in these key forums that coincides with that of the organization
- Carry out research to understand how organization rhythm is defined elsewhere
- Conduct secondary desk-based research to understand how organization rhythm is defined elsewhere
- Summarize key findings from research to improve the organization rhythm for TCF
- Strong analytical skills

- Process-oriented and good organizational skills
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with people of all levels and cultures
- Computer literacy, especially data management using MS Excel and Power BI
- Budgeting experience and some financial reporting
- Ability to operate in ambiguous environments and drive concrete solutions
- Solid experience in data analysis and reporting; industry experience is a plus
- Motivated and independent individual with ability to influence high-impact decisions
Education and Experience
Masters degree from an accredited institution and at least 4-5 years of experience in finance or strategy, preferably in the development sector or related organization excellence experience.
