Social Media Manager Job

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement and manage social media strategies to drive engagement and awareness.
  • Oversee the creation and publication of high-quality social media content that resonates with our target audience.
  • Analyze the success of each social media campaign and suggest areas for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, best practices, and technologies to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Utilize social media marketing tools such as Buffer to streamline content scheduling and maximize reach.
  • Attend educational conferences and workshops to expand knowledge and network with industry professionals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, and Product Development, to ensure seamless communication and execution.
  • Monitor SEO and user engagement metrics to identify opportunities for content optimization and improve overall online presence.
  • Nurture relationships with industry influencers and thought leaders through strategic social media outreach.
  • Mentor and lead a team of social media specialists, providing guidance and feedback to ensure team members are equipped to succeed.

Job Requirements
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably as a Social Media Specialist.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful social media strategies that drive brand awareness and impressions.
  • In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, and Google+, as well as SEO principles and web traffic metrics.
  • Familiarity with audience research and buyer persona development to create targeted content that resonates with key demographics.
  • Strong understanding of social media KPIs and analytics tools to measure campaign success and inform future strategy.
  • Experience with web design and publishing principles to create engaging visual content.
  • Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills to effectively manage teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to adapt to changing social media landscapes and priorities.
