The role of Legal Counsel plays a pivotal part in the overall success of our organization.

This position focuses on general legal tasks, with an emphasis on contract management, compliance monitoring, and regulatory research.

As a Legal Counsel, you will provide support to senior legal staff on disputes and contract drafting, while contributing to the management of intellectual property and corporate governance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the drafting and negotiation of contracts, ensuring compliance with local and international laws.

• Provide legal research on regulatory changes related to data privacy, intellectual property, and corporate law.

• Support pre-litigation dispute management, helping to prepare documentation and liaising with external counsel.

• Assist in the protection and enforcement of the company's intellectual property rights.

• Contribute to the development of corporate governance policies and ensure compliance across departments.

• Conduct basic legal risk assessments and present findings to senior legal staff for decision-making.

• Foster communication with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and business partners.

• Assist in managing the company's intellectual property portfolio, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.

Requirements:

• L.L.B. / L.L.M degree with 2+ years of transaction/corporate experience (1 year of litigation experience with a law firm is preferred).

• Fluency in written and spoken English.

• Track record of drafting, reviewing, and revising agreements coupled with outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Competence in legal research.

• Ability to work during U.S shift hours.
